The site has a gallery of images that have been taken with electron microscopes. The images look like foreign landscapes.
It makes me feel like a giant when I consider what a brussel sprout looks like at that magnitude. My teeth have never felt so huge.
Electron microscope of an Oreo? Yep. Electron microscope of a lifesaver? Oh yeah, that too. I think the shrimp tail is bizarre. I am not sure if that is the part that is eaten or discarded. I hope discarded.
I think my favorite is the oreo.
