This is my song. I call it Dizzy. I wrote it for my wife. She said she was tired of hearing sad songs. I wrote it to share the happy feeling of being in love with her.
High school dances, the way smiles jump off of faces and eyes light up. It's all the joy of being in love.
Lyrics
The poets write about how they want it.
The poets write about how they lost it.
Singers sing about how they got it
But oh... I think I just found it!
You see I love the way that her hair smells
and her smile just jumps off her face.
and when she shines her eyes my way
my heart just flutters all over the place!
This must be what it's like to be dizzy
from spinning around and round and round and round in love!
I have a picture of her dancing
in a circle with all of her friends.
Sometimes right before I fall asleep
I just stare at it and grin!
This must be what it's like to be dizzy
from spinning around and round and round and round in love!
And, oh, that first kiss...
I'm floating in her eyes.
and, oh, a memory like this
could last a thousand lives.
This must be what it's like to be dizzy
from spinning around and round and round and round in love!
