Kan Zaman Hookah Buffet
Cleveland's Kan Zaman
One of my favorite lunches, even as a vegetarian, is the fine middle eastern cuisine served up at Kan Zaman. Kan Zaman is located on West 25th Street just down from the West Side Market in Cleveland, Ohio. We usually park in the parking lot behind the market and head in from the back.

Though I have never tried it on the lunch time buffet, the menu at Kan Zaman sports Hookahs with different fruits and tobaccos. It sounds cool, and the place smells great.
Kan Zaman Full Buffet
The buffet is not like one of those 'Holy moley, this place has everything!' places but more quality than quantity. There is a salad table and a main course table and that is it. They used to offer iced tea on the buffet and then the drink was included, but not anymore. I'm not mad. The food is great.
Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Pita Chips
This is where I selected most of my food. I am quite enjoying a vegetarian lifestyle. This table has awesome salad and hummus and baba ghanoush. I pour the oil on the hummus and on the chips.
Meat Delicacies
Before the switch, I ate a lot of the different options from the main table. Potatoes and Beef, Lamb with Mushrooms, and Chicken in some incredible sauce. There are usually two or three different meat dishes here. There is also rice with some special spices that make it a fantastic side.
The Final Plate
And here is what a vegetarian's plate looks like at a Middle Eastern Buffet in Cleveland! I loved it and filled it right back up the same way just after I gobbled this down.
