"Dad, you know that thing about a cup being half full or half empty?"
Yeah. It's an optimist/pessimist thing.
"Well, I figured it out. I know if the glass is half full or half empty."
Well, I think it's about how you look at it.
"Nope."
Okay, how do you know?
"If you were pouring into the glass, then it is half full. But if you were drinking out of it, then it is half empty."
Aaaahhh....
"So it depends if you were pourin' or drinkin'."
